Role Summary

The Software Engineering Manager leads multiple developers across delivery pods with accountability for technical excellence and team health.

The role owns architectural integrity, removes engineering blockers, and ensures delivery meets quality and timeline commitments.

The manager develops a high-performing team and maintains trust with clients and internal stakeholders through transparent execution.

Technical Execution and Leadership

  • Guide architecture and technical direction while ensuring robust, scalable solutions aligned with company standards.
  • Remove blockers, facilitate technical discussions, and support on-time, on-scope delivery across projects.
  • Lead technical guilds and manage solution quality from design through deployment.
  • Run one-on-ones, provide feedback, support development plans, and foster psychological safety.
  • Ensure AI models and systems are explainable, fair, auditable, and aligned with responsible AI practices.

Stakeholder and Resource Coordination

  • Communicate team progress, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Support pre-sales and business development with solution architecture, demos, and technical question-and-answer sessions.
  • Conduct hiring interviews and contribute to quarterly resource allocation planning across delivery pods.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or management role.
  • Experience driving architectural decisions and maintaining engineering quality in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Experience managing and growing engineers across different levels.
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear communication for clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and modern MLOps or software delivery practices.
  • Experience championing responsible, ethical AI and inclusive team culture.
