Role overview
Lead engineering across a fast-growing B2C start-up building and scaling customer-facing digital products.
Combine engineering management with significant technical depth as an Engineering Manager and Staff or Lead Engineer.
Own engineering outcomes across multiple product squads, including delivery, quality, performance, and team growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering and product delivery squads.
- Set technical direction and architecture for a large-scale consumer platform.
- Partner with Product to turn strategy into scalable, high-quality features.
- Stay hands-on with architecture, design decisions, and complex engineering challenges.
- Modernize legacy systems while maintaining platform availability.
- Establish SLOs and engineering standards across product areas.
- Improve engineering processes, developer productivity, and product quality.
- Introduce and measure AI tooling across the engineering organization.
- Mentor and develop engineers and engineering leaders.
What the employer is looking for
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience and at least 2 years managing teams.
