The employer is hiring a Lead AI Engineer for a highly technical, hands-on leadership role.
The role combines AI/ML research, data science, engineering, and product development.
The position focuses on building and shipping complete AI products rather than only integrating model APIs.
What you will do
- Lead forward-looking AI/ML research and development from 0 to 1.
- Build, train, validate, and calibrate machine learning models.
- Turn research papers and emerging techniques into prototypes and production systems.
- Work across foundation models, agents, causal inference, real-time ML, and streaming analytics.
- Take ideas from research through production across models, data infrastructure, backend services, and product interfaces.
- Set technical and architectural direction for AI initiatives.
- Code, experiment, and prototype as a hands-on contributor.
- Help build and mentor a high-performing AI and engineering team.
What the employer is looking for
- A PhD or significant academic research background in AI, machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline is essential.
- At least 8 years of experience across AI, ML, and engineering is required.
