Program and Role Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Work with experienced software engineers to design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications.
• Support Medline's Warehouse Management Systems and e-commerce platforms.
• Develop features, analyze defects, participate in code reviews, and execute unit tests.
• Contribute to solution design, process improvements, technical documentation, and collaborative engineering work.

Qualifications

• Pursue a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field as a rising junior or senior.
• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript is required through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design concepts is required.
• Front-end exposure, database and SQL familiarity, and Git experience are relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge of listed frameworks, testing tools, or cloud platforms is a plus.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Unrestricted permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

Workplace and Schedule

• The 10-week program is based in one of Medline's four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.

Compensation

• The anticipated salary range is $23.25 to $33.75 hourly.
