What You’ll Be Doing

• Use testing tools and frameworks to streamline automation testing and reduce test cycles.
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks and test data.
• Identify, document, and track defects with development teams.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and recommend product improvements.
• Define testing requirements and acceptance criteria with development, product management, and QA teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various environments.
• Analyze daily CI test automation results.
• Maintain QA on Python, PHP, JavaScript, and Node.js codebases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for software and hardware functionality.
• Run test automation scripts within the CI process and review automated tests.
• Investigate tools, processes, and frameworks for efficient automation testing.

Qualities You Possess

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• At least 3 years on an Agile engineering team with a solid SDLC understanding.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Python and experience creating, maintaining, and executing Python and/or JavaScript automation scripts.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI and automated build, deployment, and test tools.
• Familiarity with VMware and AWS environments.
• Must be organized, hands-on, self-starting, and able to work effectively with engineering teams.
• Scale and performance testing experience is a plus.
• Security testing experience is a plus.

Must Have

• Experience with Behavior Driven Development, especially Gherkin syntax.
• Ability to create individual test cases and test plans.
• Ability to at least read Python code.
• Experience with Linux.
• Good communication skills.

Good To Have

• Experience with AI-assisted testing frameworks or tools such as Tabnine, Codex, or Cursor.
• Cucumber experience.
• Use of Jenkins Pipelines.
• Experience with Jira; Xray experience is a plus.
• Experience with VMware VM management.
• AWS EC2 management.
