Role overview
The Software Engineer will work on security detection and remediation systems for Nullify.
Detection services include SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection and cloud posture capabilities.
The role owns real slices of a shared pipeline spanning code analysis and distributed decision logic.
What you will do
- Build and extend detection and remediation pipelines across security services using Go and Python.
- Work on distributed-systems problems involving deterministic pull-request check runs.
- Develop idempotent scan orchestration and fair queuing across thousands of customer repositories.
- Ship typed, tested, reviewed code deployed by commit SHA.
- Build functionality that delivers fixes into engineers' pull requests within days.
What you bring
- Strong fundamentals in Go and/or Python.
- Experience with production distributed systems, including queues, state machines, idempotency and failure modes.
- A preference for simple, correct code over clever abstractions.
- Curiosity about security, even without a prior security background.
