Role Overview
The role supports business continuity and reliability of essential applications while contributing to IT transformation and operational enhancements.
The Software Engineer owns application reliability, day-to-day support, maintenance, and enhancements across the application lifecycle.
The position is open for remote work.
Main Responsibilities
- Own the reliability and day-to-day support of assigned applications and restore service when issues occur.
- Drive incident and problem management through triage, coordination, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention.
- Deliver bug fixes, minor improvements, and refactoring aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with application owners, business users, and IT teams to clarify requirements and improve user experience.
- Support release and deployment planning, execution, validation, and rollback readiness.
- Maintain runbooks, configuration notes, known issues, and release notes.
- Ensure data integrity and system security while following IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
- Take on additional applications and responsibilities as the portfolio evolves.
Key Requirements
- ASP.NET experience is required.
- C# experience is required.
- Microsoft IIS experience is required.
- .NET experience is required.
- CI/CD experience is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards.
- Familiarity with legacy systems.
