Network Engineer

Role Summary

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for optimal performance and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform network configuration and upgrades according to company requirements and industry practices.
• Respond to network issues and outages with efficient, timely solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy network solutions for projects.
• Plan network capacity to support scalability and redundancy.
• Maintain network topology, IP address, and configuration documentation.
• Optimize existing network systems and recommend improvements.
• Conduct regular system checks and performance evaluations.
• Stay current with networking technologies and industry trends.
• Travel within the UAE to client sites for installations, troubleshooting, and support.

Key Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or another relevant certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are preferred.
• Independent and collaborative working ability in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.

Location and Travel

• The role is based in the UAE and requires frequent travel to client sites within the UAE.
