Job Summary
The generalist software engineer works across the company to identify urgent, business-critical problems and ship solutions quickly.
Potential projects include data pipelines, hardware integration scripts, internal tools, and customer-facing APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify the highest-leverage technical gap and ship production-quality code for it.
- Build backend services and APIs for the data platform and customer-facing product.
- Create processing and validation pipelines for incoming real-world datasets.
- Integrate collection devices, cloud infrastructure, and software services through scripts.
- Design interfaces and developer workflows used by the wider company.
- Work across research, hardware, and operations without waiting for a complete specification.
