The Data team provides reference data, internal and external reporting, and front-office analytics for trading and research workflows.
The Software Engineer works at the intersection of engineering, trading, and research.
The role delivers scalable systems for reference data management, regulatory and external reporting, and front-office analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable services to process and distribute reference data across asset types.
- Automate lifecycle events such as corporate actions and coupon payments across instruments.
- Build and maintain internal and external reporting systems, including end-of-day, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop real-time and batch reporting infrastructure for front-office users.
- Align data pipelines with trading workflows in collaboration with research and execution teams.
- Implement automated testing and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate Python- and C#-based systems.
Required Skills
- Expert-level Python development experience and solid system design and architecture understanding.
- Proven production experience with C#.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of testing strategies within CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative cross-team working ability.
Working Context
- The team works closely with engineering, compliance, quantitative, research, execution, and trading stakeholders.
- Projects contribute to operational efficiency and trading decision-making.
