Role overview
The Data Integration Specialist will collaborate with researchers and analysts to onboard data sources and signals through a centralized framework.
The role supports data, research, technology, and trading teams in delivering reliable datasets and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain datasets used for signal generation in trading strategies.
- Develop data quality checks to improve monitoring and extend the longevity of data sources.
- Integrate alternative datasets and build tools that automate data pipelines.
- Provide support to quantitative researchers and traders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python.
- Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks such as Argo or Airflow.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and internal service integrations.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana or CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure; AWS is preferred.
- Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset when working with engineers, quants, and traders.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter within a globally distributed team.
- Front-end experience for custom monitoring dashboards is a plus.
