Job Summary
Deliver complete software solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Contribute to an AI-powered tooling initiative that improves the productivity, reliability, and velocity of cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams.
Work on critical infrastructure and cloud engineering initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Implement SDLC tasks with structure and oversight from more experienced staff.
- Follow internal conventions and standard procedures.
- Apply internal standards and processes when making technical decisions.
- Collaborate with peers, managers, and project leads to review solutions.
- May contribute to code and design reviews.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support operations, automation, security, compliance, and release engineering for user-facing and internal systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD infrastructure, secure pipelines, self-service secret management, development environments, and microservices scaffolding.
- Build and maintain tools, automation, and services powering Venmo's AWS cloud infrastructure.
