Software Engineer - AAOS with HAL & Kotlin

3 to 6 years of experience in Android development with strong focus on Kotlin

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good understanding of Java

Experience working with Android Automotive OS (AAOS)

Understanding of Android architecture (Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers)

Knowledge of HAL, AIDL/HIDL, and Android system internals

Hands-on experience with AOSP and Android build system

Experience debugging using ADB, logcat, and performance tools

Familiarity with embedded Linux systems

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Experience working on automotive infotainment or cockpit platforms

Knowledge of Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and automotive-specific Android services

Experience with Jetpack libraries and modern Android architecture components

Familiarity with Android security concepts (SELinux, permissions, sandboxing)

Exposure to performance tuning, memory optimization, and system profiling

Understanding of automotive standards such as ISO 26262 or ASPICE
