Role Description
This part-time remote Software Engineer role supports the company’s contracting and project management activities.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement back-end services and APIs.
- Enhance existing systems and write clean, testable code.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Document technical designs and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science and software development principles.
- Skills in programming and object-oriented programming.
- Experience in back-end web development, including APIs and database integration.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform debugging and testing.
- Effective communication and collaboration in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with common back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, Python, or Node.js is beneficial.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows is beneficial.
