Role Overview
The role supports EPIC Ambulatory and MyChart systems in clinical environments.
Work includes system configuration, workflow development, testing, maintenance, and end-user support.
Responsibilities
- Customize EPIC modules and design Smart Sets.
- Build clinical workflows and configurations.
- Analyze workflows with clinicians and leadership.
- Troubleshoot software issues and apply updates.
- Provide tier 2 or tier 3 end-user support.
- Create test scripts and run unit tests before go-lives and upgrades.
- Support clinical educators with documentation and software-use training.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active EpicCare Ambulatory certification is usually required.
- MyChart specialization is requested.
- Typically requires 6 to 8 years of Epic implementation or support experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical environments is expected.
- BE qualification is listed in the source.
