Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer supports EPIC Hospital Billing and Professional Billing systems.
The role focuses on configuration, workflow maintenance, billing updates, troubleshooting, testing, and end-user support.
Responsibilities
- Customize Epic modules and build, design, and maintain workflows.
- Analyze workflow gaps with leadership.
- Troubleshoot software issues and apply system updates.
- Provide tier 2 or tier 3 end-user support.
- Perform Bill Area, department, provider, Cost Center, CER Rule, payer, and plan updates.
- Create test scripts and run unit tests before go-lives and upgrades.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active EpicCare HB or PB certification or experience is usually required.
- Typically requires 3 to 4 years of Epic implementation or support experience.
- Strong understanding of billing environments is expected.
- Cadence certification is good to have.
- BE qualification is listed in the source.
