Software Development Specialist IV

Design, create, and maintain business automation and intelligence tools and the data structures which supply them.

Understand what clients need to do with data and work with experts and coworkers to accomplish it.

Plan the steps required to accomplish a client’s requirements and estimate the effort and schedule needed to complete them.

Articulate technical challenges and proposed solutions to non-technical decision makers.

Query databases and use APIs to obtain data.

Suggest innovative solutions for client requirements.

Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to work through problems and questions.

Proactively engage with coworkers and clients throughout the world.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Work location is hybrid home/office. AECOM has offices throughout the United States. Candidates in the Houston, Philadelphia, or New York regions are preferred, to facilitate engagement with existing centers of excellence. First day is in-office, without exception, for security purposes.

Occasional travel to client meetings is required.
