About the Role
Amazon Ads Publisher Technology team seeks a Software Development Engineer to build supply-side solutions for content publishers. You will design and implement globally-available UIs and APIs for ad inventory restrictions, and create low-latency solutions for real-time ad bid flow.

- Support publisher SDEs in integration with our rules
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large scale systems

This Austin based Team Is Focused On
- Designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting globally available user interfaces and APIs for publisher partners to define restrictions on their ad inventory and products
- Creating low latency solutions to evaluate and enforce these restrictions during real time ad bid flow, partnering closely with publisher ad serving teams within Amazon
- Collaborating with other Amazon advertising teams in policy/rules based technical solutions
- Supporting publisher SDEs in integration with our rules
Basic Qualifications
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large scale systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object oriented design
Salary
- Base salary range: $143,700 $194,400 USD annually
- Amazon package includes sign on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs)
