Role Overview
The role is a Java Full Stack Engineer responsible for building robust and scalable banking application solutions.
The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based front-end and back-end banking applications.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Optimize performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical challenges.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Full Stack Engineer.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, a modern JavaScript framework, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and responsive design.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
