The Role
Wagepoint is hiring a Software Development Engineer - Mobile to build and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
The role covers new feature implementation, bug fixing, and delivering a smooth user experience across devices.
The position reports to an Engineering Manager.
What You Will Own
- Implement iOS and Android mobile features from architecture and design specifications.
- Support mobile CI/CD workflows, build processes, and app store submissions with senior developer guidance.
- Monitor production features and help resolve crashes and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend developers on mobile features.
- Share project learnings about AI-assisted development, testing automation, and code optimization.
- Contribute to mobile architecture discussions, including navigation and state management.
- Evaluate new mobile tools, libraries, and AI-assisted coding solutions.
- Improve testing, debugging, refactoring, and deployment workflows.
