Role Overview
The Senior Software Development Engineer - Mobile leads the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications using React Native and related technologies.
The role owns the end-to-end mobile feature lifecycle from architecture and performance tuning through deployment and influences mobile architecture decisions.
The position reports to the Engineering Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Own mobile feature development across iOS and Android while ensuring code quality, maintainability, performance, and test coverage.
- Manage mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated releases, app store submissions, and OTA update configuration.
- Implement monitoring and crash analytics, tune performance, and respond to reliability incidents.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams and contribute to architecture, state management, and navigation decisions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and evaluate libraries, AI tools, testing approaches, and productivity improvements.
