The Software Development Engineer II designs, develops, deploys, and maintains backend application features.
The role focuses on moderate-complexity features across the software development lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and deliver backend features.
- Debug issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Write scalable and maintainable code.
- Contribute to technical discussions, design decisions, and RFCs.
- Act as an initial on-call responder and support system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to hiring, interviews, onboarding, and team-building.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
- Improve engineering processes and team standards.
- Use Kiro, GitHub Copilot, and similar AI tools responsibly in development workflows.
