Software Development Engineer-II

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.

2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Professional software development or test automation engineering experience, including building and debugging applications and internal tools, with strength in at least one programming language and exposure to multiple technology implementations.

Working knowledge of industry‐standard testing and monitoring tools for automated and distributed systems, and the ability to interpret system behavior and logs to perform effective RCA of failures.

Ability to design and implement code and framework changes that improve stability, reliability, and test effectiveness across services or components, including familiarity with CI/CD workflows and observability tooling.

Experience developing software, automation frameworks, or internal tools in at least two programming languages (such as Java and Python), including designing and maintaining test automation systems or high‐usage internal utilities from scratch.

Proven ability to apply design patterns for scalable, maintainable systems and frameworks, including system design (low‐level design), API design, and data modeling for test and tooling platforms.

Demonstrated impact in selecting appropriate technologies and architectures to solve business and quality needs, connecting team goals to broader business outcomes and identifying project‐level business problems with corresponding technical solutions.

Familiarity with AI‐driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML‐enabled solutions that improve test automation, developer workflows, or quality insights.
