Job Description

  • Teach General Social Studies (Grades 6–8) and Business (Grades 9–12 – HSD, IBDP, or A Level).

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach General Social Studies (Grades 6–8) and Business (Grades 9–12 – HSD, IBDP, or A Level).
  • Deliver high quality, engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Plan and develop learning materials and schemes of work aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Use data and assessment strategies to monitor progress and drive achievement.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Maintain excellent communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, department initiatives, and wider school life.
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and model professional conduct aligned with school and Qatar cultural expectations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant Humanities/Business field.
  • Valid teaching certification that meets Qatar MoEHE requirements.
  • Experience teaching Business at HSD, IB DP, or A Level (IB DP Business Management experience advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Effective classroom management and ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about inspiring students and supporting their academic and personal growth.
