Role overview

Robot24.com is seeking an experienced Social Media Content Editor to create compelling social content from robotics stories.

The role develops the storytelling, concepts, written content, and creative direction behind social media output.

The position is full-time and on-site in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social-first story concepts for robotics stories.
  • Research filming locations, companies, and robots and develop the creative angle, hook, script, questions, and content structure.
  • Write scripts and filming briefs for international field teams.
  • Develop interview questions and creative on-location interactions.
  • Turn news and industry developments into engaging social content.
  • Write carousel concepts, headlines, captions, and supporting social copy.
  • Structure one story for multiple social formats.
  • Follow social trends and identify adaptable formats for robotics.
  • Work with editorial, field, production, and post-production teams.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience creating social media content.
  • Demonstrable short-form video experience.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Proven ability to write compelling hooks and scripts.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of viral storytelling and audience psychology.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to simplify complex subjects.
  • Strong creative instincts, curiosity, and ability to generate ideas quickly.
  • Ability to balance entertainment with factual accuracy.
  • Robotics expertise is not required at joining, but candidates must quickly understand new topics.

Working approach

The role requires understanding curiosity, tension, surprise, humor, emotion, and visual storytelling in social media.

Candidates should understand how to create content that earns attention, sharing, and retention while maintaining factual credibility.

Experience with video production or post-production teams is highly advantageous.

Workplace

  • This is an on-site position in Dubai, UAE, working directly with editorial, production, and post-production teams from the Dubai office.
