Snowflake Developer

Experience: 5-10 Years Location: India

Key Skills

  • Strong experience in Snowflake development and implementation.
  • Proficient in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, Streams, Tasks, and Stages.
  • Good understanding of Snowflake architecture, Time Travel, data sharing, and virtual warehouses.
  • Experience integrating Snowflake with databases, APIs, AWS S3, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, cost management, RBAC, masking, and encryption.
  • Exposure to Python or scripting for automation.
  • SnowPro Core Certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
  • Integrate Snowflake with multiple data sources securely and efficiently.
  • Implement performance tuning, cost optimization, and security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot data loading, transformation, and query performance issues.
  • Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams on scalable solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support enhancements/deployments.
  • Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and capabilities.
