Role Overview
Serve as an on-road safety operator for autonomous delivery vehicles.
Monitor vehicle behavior, intervene when necessary, and support safe and compliant indoor and outdoor operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise autonomous delivery vehicles according to company SOPs and UAE traffic laws.
- Monitor vehicle performance in real time and take manual control when necessary to maintain safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for cleanliness, functionality, and deployment readiness.
- Report incidents, near misses, vehicle faults, and operational anomalies promptly and accurately.
- Support vehicle deployment, retrieval, charging, and routine maintenance.
- Document operations and coordinate with dispatch, engineering, and remote operations teams.
- Perform indoor monitoring and remote operations support and outdoor field deployment as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of driving experience in the UAE.
- Valid UAE driving license and clean driving record.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts, rotating schedules, weekends, and public holidays.
- Flexibility to perform indoor and outdoor operational roles.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications.
