Your Work Matters – And So Do You ATS is proud to participate in the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program , providing transitioning Active Duty Service Members the opportunity to gain hands‑on civilian experience during the final months of military service.

This Aviation Maintenance SkillBridge opportunity is designed for Service Members with aviation, mechanical, or technical backgrounds who want exposure to civilian aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations prior to separation from the military.

SkillBridge participants remain on Active Duty status and continue to receive full military pay and benefits through the U.S.

of Defense.

This is a training opportunity and is not a paid position with ATS during the SkillBridge period.

In accordance with the US Dept of Labor Opinion Letter dated Nov 7, 2019, this position meets the criteria to be classified by ATS as an unpaid internship.

SUMMARY: As a SkillBridge Participant – Aviation Maintenance , you will work alongside ATS aircraft maintenance professionals to gain hands‑on exposure to civilian MRO operations.

This role is structured to provide meaningful, resume‑building experience through supervised training, observation, and participation in maintenance activities that align with FAA and ATS quality standards.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repair activities under supervision.
• Learning ATS safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Supporting documentation, work packages, and maintenance records.
