Components Sheet Metal/Structures Mechanic

• Repair, replace, and rebuild A/C component structures
• Possess basic computer skills
• Repair & modify flight control surfaces and components
• Utilize special installation tools, such as blind rivet guns, etc.
• Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft structure
• Complete specialized tasks, such as flap peening, cold working, etc.
• Fabricate repair parts using special shop tooling, such as brakes, stretchers, etc.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.
• Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; talk or hear; and focus on objects close up.

The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to handle and climb ladders and aircraft stairs.

The full base pay range for this position is $23.50 - $37.00 hourly , not including bonuses or benefits.

Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team.

Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.

This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
