Responsibilities
- Support and execute content migration activities from Sitecore to Liferay
- Design and implement Information Architecture structures, navigation models, and content organization strategies
- Perform content operations, content publishing, content governance, and lifecycle management activities
- Build and configure web pages directly within the CMS environment
- Develop page layouts, components, templates, and front end configurations without backend development
- Ensure adherence to SEO best practices, including on page optimization and metadata management
- Maintain and improve website usability, accessibility, and user experience
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders, content owners, and technical teams to deliver digital initiatives
- Conduct quality assurance and content validation prior to publication
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support throughout the migration lifecycle
Requirements
- Strong hands on experience with Sitecore CMS
- Strong hands on experience with Liferay DXP/Portal
- Proven experience in CMS migration projects, particularly Sitecore to Liferay
- Expertise in Information Architecture design and implementation
- Experience in content management, publishing workflows, and governance
- Strong knowledge of page building, component configuration, and front end CMS functionality
- Experience with on page SEO implementation and optimization
- Understanding of digital accessibility requirements, specifically WCAG 2.2 AA
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Sitecore / Liferay CMS Specialist for a 15 month contract engagement in Abu Dhabi.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a digital platform migration from Sitecore to Liferay, while managing content operations, information architecture, page creation, and CMS driven digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute content migration activities from Sitecore to Liferay
- Design and implement Information Architecture (IA) structures, navigation models, and content organization strategies
- Perform content operations, content publishing, content governance, and lifecycle management activities
- Build and configure web pages directly within the CMS environment
- Develop page layouts, components, templates, and front end configurations without backend development

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience working within bilingual digital environments (Arabic and English)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise scale government, banking, or large corporate digital platforms
- Knowledge of content migration tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with UX/UI best practices
- Previous experience working with UAE based clients or public sector organizations
