Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from banking stakeholders
- Prepare detailed BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
- Work closely with IT teams to translate business needs into system requirements
- Analyze existing banking processes and recommend improvements
- Support projects related to core banking, digital banking, payments, cards, lending, compliance, or customer onboarding
- Coordinate with business users, vendors, developers, QA teams, and project managers
- Support UAT planning, test case review, defect tracking, and user sign off
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessment for new system changes
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and regulatory expectations
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on requirement status and project progress
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and operations
- Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Good knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies
- Experience preparing BRD, FRD, process maps, user stories, and UAT documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
- Prior experience working with banks in the UAE or GCC region will be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- CBAP, PMI PBA, Agile, or Scrum certification will be an added advantage

Role Overview
- Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking domain experience for a long term engagement in Abu Dhabi.

- CBAP, PMI PBA, Agile, or Scrum certification will be an added advantage.
