Role overview
The Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the WDP System.
The role is associated with the DoD - TS/SCI department and is based in Arlington, Virginia.
Core responsibilities
- Define and track KPIs and SLOs, identify performance bottlenecks, and perform incident root cause analysis.
- Design monitoring and alerting systems and maintain visibility into system health and performance.
- Develop runbooks and playbooks and automate routine operational tasks.
- Conduct capacity planning, implement load testing, and establish disaster recovery procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, and collaborate with development teams.
- Use chaos engineering to identify weaknesses before they affect users.
Requirements
- Secret security clearance is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.
