Role Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for personnel scheduling, work supervision, quality control, and daily operation of a task order.

The Site Manager has authority to act for Intrepid on matters related to daily task-order operations and must be available to meet Government personnel at the installation within two hours.

Site Management Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate site operations, departments, services, and activities.
  • Lead site operations to ensure continuing compliance with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate department activities and report assigned-organization status to management.
  • Investigate technical and operational issues, recommend resolutions, and provide technical guidance.
  • Lead site functions, implement improvements, establish procedures, and coordinate with other locations and military contacts.
  • Monitor site financials, report key metrics, and take corrective action to achieve financial objectives.
  • Lead site planning and scheduling activities.

SCBA and Breathing-Air Equipment

  • Inspect, test, maintain, repair, clean, and recertify SCBA and MSA units, including harnesses, backpacks, regulators, valves, hoses, gauges, and warning devices.
  • Perform flow, leakage, pressure, regulator, exhalation-valve, and computerized functional testing and record results.
  • Maintain high-pressure breathing-air compressors and valves, replace specified components, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Install and maintain oxygen cascade systems and inspect, repair, and rebuild flow-control and safety valves.

Cylinder and Air-Cart Testing

  • Perform internal and external cylinder inspections before and after hydrostatic testing, including video borescope inspections where required.
  • Coordinate and track independent-laboratory hydrostatic testing dates and perform required MSA and Bauer air-compressor cascade cylinder testing.
  • Perform cylinder leak tests, repair leaks, and remove, clean, and reassemble cylinder valves.
  • Inspect and test MAS Air Cart components, including batteries, alarms, cylinders, jackets, gauges, and valves.

Requirements

  • Be available to meet with Government personnel at the installation within two hours.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance for site functions and services.
  • Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, repair, and recertification of SCBA and MSA units.
  • Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure breathing-air compressors, valves, cylinders, and related equipment.
