Role Overview
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial control systems supporting HVAC and critical infrastructure.
Work in a deployed location with 100% travel and exposure to demanding environmental conditions.
Essential Job Functions
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICS for HVAC and building automation systems.
- Monitor, calibrate, and optimize HVAC controls for performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance on control systems and HVAC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
- Document maintenance, repairs, and system changes accurately.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, industrial, and organizational safety standards.
- Support and guide junior technicians and operations personnel.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience specializing in ICS.
- Operator training in building automation systems.
- Experience with HVAC controls, building automation systems, PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, sensors, actuators, and control panel components.
- Hands-on ICS troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
- Valid U.S. Passport is preferred.
- Must meet current USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Qatar residency visa.
- Must work in extreme conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must endure long hours and exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Travel and Clearance
- Travel is 100% in the deployed location.
- A DoD Secret Clearance must be obtained and maintained.
