Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.
- Maintain office files related to the project, quantity calculations and write daily diaries.
- Prepare daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
- Verify that only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
- Perform labor compliance interviews and maintain as built plans.
- Recognize potential conflicts, issues and problems, and report to supervisor with proposed solution.
- Collect, review and file Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used.
- Provide technical guidance to lower level inspectors.
- Coordinate work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.
- Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.
- Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
- Report on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Landscape, Irrigation or related course)
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction supervision of Infrastructure, Materials, landscape and irrigation works
- Good oral and written communication skills
