Responsibilities
- Monitor contractor compliance with project HSE plans, procedures, and statutory requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe acts and conditions
- Participate in daily site walks, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Review contractor HSE documentation including risk assessments, method statements, permit to work systems, and emergency response plans
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and assist in preparing investigation reports
- Track corrective and preventive actions and verify their closure
- Monitor high risk activities including work at height, lifting operations, excavation, confined space entry, hot work, and electrical works
- Ensure availability and proper use of PPE across project sites
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, observations, and safety statistics
- Participate in emergency drills and verify emergency preparedness
- Support implementation of environmental management requirements
- Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports for PMC management
Requirements
- Experience in HSE monitoring and compliance
- Knowledge of risk assessments and method statements
- Ability to conduct site inspections and safety audits
- Experience with incident investigation and reporting
- Familiarity with high risk activities (work at height, lifting, excavation, confined space, hot work, electrical)
