Site Engineering Manager / Site Manager – Luxury Fit-OutRole Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Site Engineering Manager** to oversee the day-to-day site operations of a high-end luxury fit-out project.
This role is focused on ensuring smooth execution on site, coordinating all trades, managing site teams, and making sure works are delivered on time, to the highest quality standards, and in line with design intent.
The position is highly operational and requires a strong presence on site, with the ability to anticipate issues, drive progress, and maintain control of site activities at all times.
Key Responsibilitiessite Operations & Daily Management
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site activities and operations
- Ensure works are progressing in line with the programme and site priorities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site teams
- Ensure proper sequencing of works to avoid delays and clashes
- Monitor site productivity and address any issues impacting progress
Coordination & Execution
- Ensure all teams are working from the latest drawings and instructions
- Coordinate closely with Project Manager, Design Team, and Commercial teams
- Manage and follow up on RFIs, technical clarifications, and site queries
- Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently
Quality & Finishes
- Ensure all works meet ADF’s high-end quality standards and attention to detail
- Monitor installation of luxury finishes
- Carry out regular quality inspections and enforce corrective actions
Health & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture on site
- Review and enforce method statements and risk assessments
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Maintain strong discipline, structure, and organisation on site
- Ensure clear communication of daily priorities and expectations
- Support and guide teams to ensure efficient delivery
Reporting & Progress Tracking
- Provide regular updates on site progress, issues, and risks
- Report delays, resource needs, and coordination challenges to the Project Manager
- Participate in daily and weekly site meetings
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Support interactions with clients, consultants, and inspectors on site
- Ensure site presentation reflects ADF standards and professionalism
- Assist in managing site visits, inspections, and approvals
Key Requirementsexperience
- 7–12 years of experience in construction, with strong exposure to site management
- Proven experience in luxury fit-out / high-end residential or hospitality projects
- Experience in the Middle East (UAE preferred)
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Fit-out works and sequencing
- High-end materials and finishes
- Site coordination and logistics
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Drawings, shop drawings, and specifications

- Strong site management and coordination skills
- Very hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong leadership and authority on site
- Ability to work under pressure and keep control of operations
