About the Role

  • ADF Middle East is part of the Ateliers de France Group, an international leader in luxury construction, heritage restoration, high end fit out, and bespoke projects.
  • We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Finance Assistant to support the day to day financial and administrative operations of our Dubai office.
  • Reporting to the UK Finance Team and working closely with the local management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and branch expenses using QuickBooks.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and local accounts.
  • Prepare supplier payment schedules and coordinate payments.
  • Create and issue client invoices accurately and on time.
  • Track project related costs and support cost reporting activities.
  • Maintain organised and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month end finance activities and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly payroll information for submission to the UK Finance Team.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for the UK Finance Team.
  • Monitor and control company credit card transactions.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and transport providers regarding the importation of goods into the UAE.
  • Track shipments and support customs and importation administration.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar finance administration role.
  • Experience using QuickBooks is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payroll administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with international teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within construction, engineering, fit out, manufacturing, or project based businesses.
  • Experience working with international finance teams.
  • Familiarity with UAE business practices and supplier management.
