Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
The role is responsible for site execution, coordination, quality, progress, safety, snagging, and handover.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily interior fit-out works at site.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site workers, design teams, and project teams.
- Monitor site progress, quality, workmanship, schedules, and timely completion.
- Review shop drawings, architectural drawings, and details, and verify site measurements.
- Ensure materials are available and properly coordinated for site activities.
- Prepare progress reports and identify site issues, delays, and material requirements.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover works.
Requirements
- Two to three years of relevant UAE experience in interior fit-out is required.
- Strong knowledge of site execution, finishing works, and fit-out activities is required.
- Ability to read and understand technical and shop drawings is required.
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams is required.
