Role Overview
Oversee daily workshop and factory production activities for metal and woodwork items.
Coordinate production teams, quality, deadlines, and compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise metal, woodwork, joinery, and custom furniture production.
- Plan production schedules to meet project deadlines and delivery requirements.
- Assign worker tasks and monitor performance and productivity.
- Coordinate with design, drafting, project, procurement, installation, and site teams.
- Review approved drawings and production details before fabrication.
- Monitor product quality, dimensions, materials, finishes, and workmanship.
- Resolve production, technical, and material-related issues.
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment and reduce material wastage.
- Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and work procedures.
- Track progress and report delays or issues to management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in metal, woodwork, joinery, or interior fit-out production.
- Strong knowledge of woodwork, joinery, metal fabrication, and workshop processes.
- Experience supervising production workers and managing daily workshop activities.
