About the Role
Energy and Infrastructure Company seeks a Site Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical site activities for EPC HV/EHV substation and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day electrical construction and installation activities at site.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, vendors, and construction teams.
- Supervise installation of HV/MV electrical systems including transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, control and protection panels, cable systems, grounding systems, lighting, and associated electrical equipment.
- Monitor quality and ensure compliance with approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Support QA/QC activities, including MIRs, RFIs, inspections, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, permit to work systems, and safety procedures.
- Monitor site progress and report daily/weekly status updates to Site Manager and Project Management team.
- Identify site issues, delays, or technical conflicts and coordinate timely resolution.
- Assist in the successful handing over and close out of the completed project tasks.

Responsibilities
- Familiarizes with project scope of work, general requirements, applicable standards, technical specifications and project milestone schedule.
- Prepares work plan and implementation strategy in line with project schedule and customer requirements for the assigned tasks.
- Supervise day to day electrical construction and installation activities at site.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, vendors, and construction teams.
- Ensures work execution as per standards, specifications, procedures and good engineering practices.
- Supervise installation of HV/MV electrical systems including transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, control and protection panels, cable systems, grounding systems, lighting, and associated electrical equipment.
- Coordinates with members of execution team, supervisors, safety officer and QA/QC engineer.
- Monitor quality and ensure compliance with approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Ensures implementation of quality control requirements, procedures and guidelines and takes corrective actions where needed.
- Support QA/QC activities, including MIRs, RFIs, inspections, and documentation requirements.
