Role Overview
The role oversees site activities for building construction projects in Dubai.
The position supports civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works on high-rise developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil, structural, and architectural construction activities according to approved project documents and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements, building regulations, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, foremen, surveyors, and internal site teams.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents and coordinate solutions for discrepancies.
- Monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct quality inspections for foundations, concrete, waterproofing, façade interfaces, and finishing works.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities and close observations within required timeframes.
- Prepare progress reports, site diaries, inspection requests, work records, and material delivery records.
- Raise RFIs and report issues, delays, variations, and quality concerns to the Project Manager.
- Support work planning, sequencing, and resource allocation.
- Enforce safety requirements and appropriate personal protective equipment use.
- Assist with snagging, handover, close-out documentation, and outstanding works.
