Role Overview
The Simulation Engineer - RCI role involves finite element analysis project execution.
The work supports defence missile systems under the supervision of DRDO scientists.
Responsibilities
- Execute finite element analysis projects.
- Perform postprocessing and prepare reports.
- Discuss FEA results with DRDO scientists.
- Work on avionics systems, inertial navigation systems, RF seekers, and imaging infrared seekers.
Required Skills
- Understanding of solid mechanics is required.
- Static structural analysis knowledge must include linear, buckling, and nonlinear analysis.
- Dynamic analysis knowledge must include modal, random vibration using PSD, and sine-on-random analysis.
- ANSYS Mechanical software knowledge is required.
Optional Skill
- Mechanical design fundamentals are optional.
