Role Overview
The Account Manager will sell technology solutions to new prospects and existing customers.
The role supports renewals and customer satisfaction while combining account management and sales engineering responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Work with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates from blueprints, plans, and related customer documents.
- Partner with sales executives on strategic deals and complex sales cycles.
- Model the finance business case for each sales opportunity.
- Match customer requirements and pain points to proposed solutions.
- Communicate customer needs to technical and research and development teams.
- Prepare sales engineering reports and collect competitive intelligence.
Required Experience
- Four to five years of proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
- A proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with senior executives.
- Ability to explain and present complex concepts clearly.
