Role Overview
Carry out signwriting, fabrication, painting, and design work for client and shipyard requirements.
Deliver sign projects on time while following supervisor instructions, approved drawings, and defined standards.
Sign Production and Installation
- Construct and fabricate signs according to required sizes and letter specifications.
- Design signs according to approved drawings.
- Install signs in a variety of locations.
- Paint signs and work with different materials, paints, and finishes.
Workplace and Equipment
- Maintain workplace housekeeping to required standards.
- Use tools and machinery appropriately to prevent excessive wear, tear, and breakdowns.
- Report tool and machinery malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
- Prevent wastage of materials and consumables.
Standards and Development
- Follow work instructions, supervisor directives, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
- Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls.
