- Document, file, and maintain all shipping function papers and documents
- Follow up with shipping companies on shipping schedules and status
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
Requirements
- Diploma degree in any relevant discipline or BSc degree in Business Management / Computer or any relevant discipline
- Not registered in GOSI in last 6 months
- Has not previously benefited from the Tamheer program
- Proficiency in job related applications, Office applications, and Internet
- Good communication skills in written and oral forms

Description
- We are looking for a talented Shipping Officer (Tamheer Program) to join us. At Hikma you’ll be supported by a culture of progress and belonging.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all required preparations for the shipping process are in place
- Collecting the pertinent information required for establishing the shipping plans
- Identifying the local shipments in order to complete the required preparations
- Communicating with the warehouse function to inform them with the daily required shipments
- Completing all paperwork and issuance of invoices in a timely manner
- Updating the SAP System with the related Shipping function transactions daily
- Documenting, filing, and maintaining all shipping function papers and documents
- Following up with shipping companies on shipping schedules and status
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
Qualifications
- Diploma degree in any relevant discipline or BSc degree in Business Management / Computer or any relevant discipline
- GOSI: Not Registered in GOSI in last 6 months
- Tamheer: The candidate has not previously benefited from the Tamheer program
- Skills: Performs moderately difficult tasks using job related applications, Office applications, and other relevant programs
- Tracks regular communication with other contract parties
- Able to read and write fluently and accurately
- Communicates effectively with all organizational levels
- Consistently practices constructive critical thinking
- Normally works within approved budget
- Appropriately balances between bureaucracy and applying procedures flexibly
- Continuously seeks to develop themselves and broaden knowledge and skills
