Reporting to the Shop Supervisor and/or Lead Hand Shipping Receiving, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for unloading materials, preparing materials for shipping, filling work orders, and monitoring inventory.
Unload, sort, and inspect incoming material.
Prepare outgoing material for shipment.
Ensure proper paper work flow of Purchase Orders and packing slips.
Monitor and maintain strong inventory records.
Organize and maintain the work area; including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers, and racking.
Assist with wellhead assemblies (as required).
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to complete work duties.
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Participate in rotational on call schedule.
Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma.
1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience.
Strong computer skills with experience using SAP preferred.
Inventory management an asset.
Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset.
Forklift experience is an asset.
