Work closely with the Project Engineering Team providing technical and design support to determine the best solutions to specific customer needs.
Support new product line design and development.
Execute on all customer orders.
Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications.
Provide necessary calculations required on new and existing products.
Provide engineering production support to machining, welding, assembly and other departments.
Provide technical support for field service, the customer, sales and manufacturing.
Together with the quality department, troubleshoot quality issues as it pertains to material rejects, material review, warrantee issues and custom engineering requirements.
Develop, write and implement production procedures as it pertains to the support of engineering functions.
Provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff on technical issues, corporate policies, project management, and divisional objectives.
Responsible for reviewing and approving engineering work.
Ensuring compliance with safety principles applicable to the project.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or technical institute
Membership with APEGA or ASET or eligible to get membership
Six on more years in product design experience. Wellhead or Gate Valve experience preferred.
Proficient with 3D modeling and drafting with Creo or SolidWorks
