Role Overview

The Shift Supervisor oversees contractor maintenance activities at a petrochemical plant to support safety, reliability, availability, and operational continuity.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee contractor execution of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance jobs in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality rules.
- Report maintenance execution regularly in the CMMS system.
- Support the planning and scheduling supervisor and the company reliability department with bad actor analysis.
- Prepare weekly reports and participate in maintenance meetings.
- Coordinate job-specific personnel training with the Head of HR.
- Ensure safety requirements are followed during job execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum oil and gas maintenance experience is 15 years with a high school education, 10 years with a diploma, or 7 years with a bachelor's degree.
- Good knowledge of refining equipment, maintenance contract management, and safety rules.
- Well organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills in large organizations and mature judgment under pressure.
- Ability to resolve problems, think strategically, remain open to new ideas, and achieve results in a multicultural environment.
