Role Profile

Core Role Scope

• Develop fit-for-purpose, history-matched dynamic simulation models.
• Integrate geology, petrophysics, PVT, SCAL, pressure, production, seismic, and log data.
• Support field development optimization, well placement, and production forecasting.
• Deliver scenarios, sensitivities, uncertainties, and decision-ready technical outputs.
• Act as a technical focal point for simulation deliverables in governance meetings and workshops.
• Update models with new data and manage multiple parallel deliverables and support requests.

Technical Experience

• Experience with static and dynamic simulation modelling, 3D model building, initialization, history matching, and uncertainty handling.
• Experience with development forecasting, sensitivity analysis, uncertainty quantification, and production forecasting.
• Experience supporting field development planning, recovery factors, well placement, pressure maintenance, and injection strategy.
• Experience with STOIIP uncertainty, reservoir connectivity, performance risk, and P10, P50, and P90 scenarios.
• Experience preparing technical presentations, approval packages, and governance deliverables.

First 6 to 12 Months

• Deliver an integrated static-dynamic simulation model and a history-matched reservoir model.
• Complete data quality control, integration, and audit-ready assumptions and uncertainty documentation.
• Present model re-evaluation results and deliver endorsement-ready technical packages.
• Provide production forecasts, development scenarios, sensitivity cases, and field development strategy support.
• Deliver STOIIP uncertainty analysis, P10, P50, and P90 ranges, and risked production outlooks.
• Update models using new wells, pressure, and surveillance data and maintain alignment with IRM requirements.
• Interface with geology, petrophysics, production, and facilities teams to deliver an integrated subsurface model.

Governance and Compliance

• Comply with applicable HSE policies, procedures, legislation, sustainability guidelines, international standards, and company codes of practice.
• Implement approved department policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures.
